Women’s Swimming and Diving Head to Atlanta, GA for NCAA Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving will be represented by four athletes competing at the NCAA Championships this week at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Crimson is slated to be in action from Wednesday, March 18 – Saturday, March 22, with ESPN+ handling the broadcast duties.

What to Know

  • Harvard will be represented by Anya Mostek (50 free, 100 back, 200 back), Alexandra Bastone (500 free, 1650 free), Nina Janmyr (1-meter diving), and Sydney Lu (100 fly, 200 fly). Bastone, Lu, and Mostek received invitations based on their top performances in 2025–26, while Janmyr punched her ticket at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships last week.
  • Bastone will kick things off for the Crimson on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the 1650 free.
  • On Thursday, Lu will make her NCAA debut in the 100 fly alongside Janmyr on the 1-meter. The 100 fly will be part of the preliminary session beginning at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the 1-meter diving trials at 12:15 p.m. ET. After that, the finals (swimming and diving) will commence at 6:00 p.m. ET.
  • Bastone will return to action on Friday in the 500 free along with Mostek competing in the 100 back and 50 free. The prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. ET, followed by the championship finals at 6:00 p.m. ET.
  • Lu and Mostek will close out the events on Saturday for the Crimson. Lu (200 fly) and Mostek (200 back) will race in the prelims starting at 10:00 a.m. ET, with the championship finals slated for 6:00 p.m. ET.
  • Bastone posted the 31st-fastest 500 free time in Division I this season when she won the event at the Ivy League Championships in 4:40.94. In the 1650 free, Bastone finished sixth with a time of 16:21.95, which earned her an invite to the national meet in the event.
  • Mostek returns to the national stage for the first time since 2024. At the Ivy League Championships, Mostek shattered the pool, Ivy, and Harvard record in the 100 back with a 51.31, which is the 24th-fastest time in Division I this season. In the 200 back, she also holds the 24th-fastest time after posting a personal-best 1:52.70 at the Ivy League Championships. With a runner-up finish in the 50 free finals at Ivies, she also earned an invite to compete in the event with a program-record 22.18.
  • In the 100 fly, Lu posted the 36th-fastest time in Division I this season when she won the event at the Ivy League Championships in 51.97. With a season-best 1:56.25 and a runner-up finish in the 200 fly at Ivies, she earned an invite to compete in the event.
  • Janmyr secured a spot at nationals in the 1-meter diving competition after placing sixth at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships in Annapolis, Maryland. The senior finished with a score of 547.70 to lock in her fourth straight NCAA berth (2023 – 1m, 3m; 2024 – 1m; 2025 – 1m).
  • With four NCAA participants, Harvard will appear at the national meet for the 14th straight season. In 2025, Kulik led a program that had Bastone and Janmyr participate at NCAAs.
