ATLANTA, GA - Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving senior Anya Mostek finished 23rd in the 200 back on Saturday at the NCAA Championships. The event marked Mostek's third in two days, as she and Lu wrapped up competition at the national meet.
Lu began the morning in the 200 fly, entering with a seed time of 1:56.25 following a runner-up finish at the Ivy League Championships. The senior had a great swim finishing in 1:57.78 but was unfortunately disqualified.
Mostek entered the meet with the 24th-fastest 200 back time in Division I this season, having recorded a personal-best 1:52.70 at the Ivy League Championships. She swam a 1:52.94 to place 23rd in a 45-athlete field and was the only Ivy League swimmer to compete in the event.
Mostek's performance capped the 14th consecutive season in which a Harvard athlete has appeared at the NCAA Championships.
