Robert Hinton have all earned CSC Academic All-District accolades, College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Harvard stood as one of six schools in Division I with a nation-leading four selection in men's basketball alongside Buffalo, Lipscomb, North Florida, UC Davis, and Yale.
A Second Team All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy selection this past season, Piggé averaged 12.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game on the year, while shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 75.3 percent from the free throw line. For the year, he ranked third in the Ivy League in steals per game (1.7), third in minutes per game (33.6), sixth in assists per game (3.3), 14
th in points per game (12.9), and 14
th in rebounds per game (5.1). A team captain, he scored in double figures 19 times on the season.
Also, an Allstate NACDA Winter Good Works Team Nominee this past year, Nesbitt played in 28 games on the season, including all 14 Ivy League games – one of six members of the Crimson to appear in all 14 conference contests. For his career, he has played in 64 games.
An Ivy Madness All-Tournament Team selection this past season, Eisendrath posted 5.3 points, 3.3 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game on the season, while playing in 28 games with 26 starts. He ranked fourth in the Ivy League in steals per game (1.6) and seventh in assists per game (3.3). For Harvard, he led the team in free throw percentage in all games (89.7) and in conference-only contests (95.8), while standing as one of four members of the Crimson to start in all 14 Ivy League games.
A unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection as well as a First Team NABC All-District honoree this past season, Hinton tallied 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game on the year, while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 82.9 percent from the free throw line. This past season, he ranked first in the Ivy League in field goals (187), fourth in points (486), fifth in points per game (16.8), fifth in free throw percentage (82.9), fifth in minutes per game (33.5), sixth in free throws (87), and sixth in steals per game (1.4). For the season, Hinton scored in double figures 24 times, notched nine 20-point games, and eclipsed 30 points twice.
In order to qualify for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have reached sophomore standing academically and athletically, maintained a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and either competed in 90 percent of an institution's games played or started in at least 66 percent of an institution's contests.
As a team, Harvard posted a 17-12 overall record and 10-4 mark in Ivy League play this past year, finishing in second place in the Ivy League standings for its best finish since the 2019-20 season. The Crimson qualified for the Ivy League Tournament for the first time since 2020 and competed in the event for the first time since 2019 as the 2020 edition was canceled due to COVID-19. For the year, the Crimson led the conference in scoring defense (66.7).
