CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Basketball hosts Columbia on Friday, Mar. 6 at 7:00 p.m. (ESPN+) at Lavietes Pavilion in its regular season finale with the Crimson still in contention for a share of the Ivy League title as it recognizes the Class of 2026 on Senior Night.

- Harvard (16-10, 9-4 Ivy) enters Frida in second place in the Ivy League standings, sitting one game back of first-place Yale (22-5, 10-3 Ivy) while Columbia (16-11, 5-8 Ivy) stands in fifth place in the conference standings. The Crimson can share the Ivy title if Harvard beat Columbia on Friday and Princeton tops Yale on Saturday. Harvard has earned at least one win over all seven other Ivy League programs on the year and has notched sweeps against Brown and Princeton. Harvard has captured seven Ivy League titles (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019) in program history.
- The Crimson has secured the No. 2 seed in the Ivy League Tournament and will face No. 3 seed Penn in the semifinals on Mar. 14 at 2:00 p.m. (ESPNews). In the other semifinal, No. 1 seed Yale will play No. 4 seed Cornell on Mar. 14 at 11:00 a.m. (ESPNU) as the Big Red will host the event at Newman Arena in Ithaca, New York.
- Opening its final road back-to-back of the year, sophomore guard Robert Hinton hit the game-winner with 3.1 seconds left as the Crimson erased a 17-point second-half deficit to win its seventh straight road game as Harvard beat Princeton, 58-56, on Feb. 27 to move into a tie for first place in the Ivy League standings with Yale and to improve to 6-0 in conference road games on the year.
- The Crimson secured its spot in the Ivy League Tournament with its win at Cornell (Feb. 21). Ivy Madness will take place at the Big Red's Newman Arena in Ithaca, New York from Mar. 14-15. The men's semifinals will take place on Mar. 14 at 11:00 a.m. (ESPNU) and 2:00 p.m. (ESPNews) ahead of the final on Mar. 15 at noon (ESPN2). Open shootarounds for the men's teams will take place on Mar. 13.
- The Crimson has qualified for Ivy Madness for the first time since 2020 and will compete at the event for the first time since 2019 as the 2020 edition of the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Crimson qualified for each of the first three editions of the tournament in 2017, 2018, and 2019, advancing to the tournament final in both 2018 and 2019.
- The Crimson posted a 9-2 record over an 11-game stretch from Jan. 10 to Feb. 27. Over that time, Harvard notched two-game sweeps of Brown and Princeton and one win each against Dartmouth, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, and Penn. During that stretch, Harvard shot 46.1 percent from the field, 34.5 percent from downtown, and 81.2 percent at the free throw line. Sophomore guard Robert Hinton (18.5 PPG, 52.0 FG%, 38.5 3PT%), sophomore guard Tey Barbour (16.1 PPG, 41.3 3PT%), junior forward Thomas Batties II (13.8 PPG, 40.7 3PT%), and senior guard Chandler Piggé (11.0 PPG, 6.6 RPG) all scored in double figures during the stretch.
- Harvard won seven straight road games from Dec. 28 to Feb. 27 behind victories at Colgate (78-69), Columbia (79-54), Brown (69-59), Yale (67-65), Dartmouth (71-58), Cornell (73-54), and Princeton (58-56). Over that span, the Crimson shot 46.8 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from downtown, and 85.7 percent from the charity stripe. Sophomore guard Robert Hinton (17.7 PPG, 49.5 FG%), sophomore guard Tey Barbour (16.9 PPG, 54.4 FG%, 50.0 3PT%), junior forward Thomas Batties II (13.4 PPG), and senior guard Chandler Piggé (12.1 PPG, 6.1 RPG) led Harvard during the streak.
- The Crimson captured six of its seven Ivy League road games on the year with victories at Columbia (79-54), Brown (69-59), Yale (67-65), Dartmouth (71-58), Cornell (73-54), and Princeton (58-56). Harvard dropped a narrow 64-61 decision at Penn in its final road game in conference play.
- Harvard features four double-figure scorers in a group that includes sophomore guard Robert Hinton (17.1 points per game), sophomore guard Tey Barbour (13.4), senior guard Chandler Piggé (12.6), and junior forward Thomas Batties II (12.4). All four players have also scored in double figures in conference-only play behind Hinton (18.5), Barbour (15.1), Batties II (13.8), and Piggé (11.1). That quartet has combined to score 1,501 of the Crimson's 1,891 points (79.4 percent) on the year. That figure moves to 759 of 907 points (83.7 percent) in conference play. All four players rank in the top eight of the Ivy League in minutes played per game.
- Among the Crimson's four double-figure scorers, three of them averaged fewer than 7.0 points per game as first-years. Senior Chandler Piggé (1.9 points per game in 2022-23; 12.6 in 2025-26), junior Thomas Batties II (6.8 points per game in 2023-24; 12.4 in 2025-26), and sophomore Tey Barbour (4.8 points per game in 2024-25; 13.4 in 2025-26) have all increased their production over their careers.
- In the NCAA, the Crimson ranks second in free throw percentage (79.6), fifth in fewest fouls per game (13.8), 27th in scoring defense (66.7), and 65th in 3-point percentage defense (31.8). - Sophomore guard Robert Hinton has averaged 17.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game on the year, while shooting 49.9 percent from the floor and 82.2 percent on free throws. He has increased his production in conference play, posting 18.5 points per game, while shooting 52.5 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from downtown. Hinton ranks first in the Ivy League in field goals (178), second in points (463), third in points per game (17.1), fourth in minutes per game (33.2), fifth in free throw percentage (82.2), fifth in steals per game (1.4), sixth in free throws (83), and ninth in field goal percentage (49.9). In Ivy only play, he stands first in points (240), second in points per game (18.5), second in field goals (95), sixth in field goal percentage (52.5), sixth in minutes per game (35.1), and seventh in steals per game (1.4). On the year, he has scored in double figures 23 times, netted 20 or more points nine times, and eclipsed 30 points twice. Hinton has scored in double figures in all 13 Ivy games. He earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors on Dec. 8 and Feb. 2 and gained a spot on the Lou Henson Award Early Season Watch List as a candidate for the mid-major player of the year award on Dec. 18. Hinton – the 2024-25 Ivy League Rookie of the Year – averaged 14.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 2024-25.
- Hinton dropped a career-high 35 points on 12-of-22 field goals and 11-of-12 free throws with eight rebounds at UMass (Dec. 3). Hinton poured in 34 points on 13-of-17 field goals, 4-of-5 3-pointers, and 4-of-4 free throws vs. BU (Nov. 22). Hinton dropped 27 points in the overtime win vs. Princeton (Jan. 17), notching a dunk that forced overtime, before scoring 26 points at Yale (Jan. 31). He totaled 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists at Furman (Dec. 6) and scored 22 points vs. UNH (Nov. 9). He tallied 22 points at Brown (Jan. 30), 20 points vs. Brown (Feb. 13), 20 points at Penn (Feb. 28), and 19 points and nine rebounds at Dartmouth (Feb. 7). Hinton netted 19 points vs. Cornell (Jan. 24) and 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting at Columbia (Jan. 10). Hinton notched 16 points and seven boards against both Holy Cross (Dec. 20) and Dartmouth (Jan. 5) and contributed 16 points at Cornell (Feb. 21) and at Army (Nov. 15). Hinton scored 15 points and hit the game-winner with 3.1 seconds left at Princeton (Feb. 27). He ranks second in the Ivy League in steals per game (1.7), fifth in minutes per game (33.2), sixth in assists per game (3.2), ninth in field goals (129), 11th in points (340), and 13th in points per game (12.6). In Ivy only play, he stands second in steals per game (1.9), sixth in rebounds per game (6.4), and seventh in minutes per game (33.8). He has scored in double figures in 18 games on the year and netted over 20 points three times. Piggé – an Honorable Mention All-Ivy selection and CSC Academic All-District honoree last season – notched 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game in 2024-25. He has steadily increased his production over his career, averaging 1.9 points per game in 2022-23, 8.1 points per game in 2023-24, and 13.1 points per game in 2024-25.
- Piggé totaled 23 points and six assists, while shooting 8-of-11 from the floor vs. UNH (Nov. 9). He recorded his first double-double of the season on 21 points and 11 rebounds in the overtime win vs. Princeton (Jan. 17). He dropped 21 points with a career-high nine assists at Penn State (Nov. 19) and netted 18 points at Colgate (Dec. 28). Barbour has hit 71 3-pointers on the year, tied for the seventh most in a single season in program history. He poured in 20 points with seven rebounds at Brown (Jan. 30) before hitting the game-winning 3-pointer at Yale (Jan. 31). He scored 18 points with eight rebounds vs. Holy Cross (Dec. 20), hitting 4-of-5 3-pointers. Barbour hit for 18 points on 7-of-10 field goals and 4-of-6 treys at Colgate (Dec. 28). He notched 18 points vs. Cornell (Jan. 24), 18 points at Dartmouth (Feb. 7), 17 points vs. Penn (Jan. 19), and 17 points vs. Brown (Feb. 13). He posted 15 points and nine rebounds at BC (Nov. 26) after scoring 15 points vs. BU (Nov. 22). He ranks second in the Ivy League in 3-point percentage (46.6), third in blocks per game (1.4), seventh in 3-pointers (54), eighth in 3-pointers per game (2.0), eighth in minutes per game (32.8), 10th in field goals (121), 13th in points (335), 14th in points per game (12.4), and 14th in rebounds per game (5.1). He dropped 22 points, seven rebounds, and three steals at Colgate (Dec. 28). Batties II registered 19 points and eight boards at Penn (Feb. 28). He compiled 18 points and nine boards vs. Princeton (Jan. 17) and went for 17 points and six boards vs. Penn (Jan. 19). He tallied 17 points, a career-high five made 3-pointers, and a career-high six assists at Penn State (Nov. 19). He scored a game-high 17 points against both MIT (Nov. 7) and Army (Nov. 15). Batties II posted 14 points and a career-high six assists vs. BU (Nov. 22) and netted 14 points vs. Cornell (Jan. 24) and at Dartmouth (Feb. 7). He notched 13 points at BC (Nov. 26) and at UMass (Dec. 3). He totaled 12 points and nine rebounds vs. Bryant (Nov. 29).
- Sophomore guard Ben Eisendrath has notched 5.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game on the year, while shooting 88.9 percent on free throws. In conference play, he has posted 5.2 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game, while shooting 95.2 percent at the free throw line. Eisendrath ranks fourth in the Ivy League in steals per game (1.7) and eighth in assists per game (3.0). In Ivy only play, he stands third in steals per game (1.8) and 10th in assists per game (3.1). He scored a career-high 15 points on 6-of-7 field goals at Penn State (Nov. 19), and tallied 13 points, five assists, and five steals at Columbia (Jan. 10). Eisendrath netted 13 points on 4-of-6 field goals and 5-of-5 free throws vs. Yale (Feb. 14). He compiled 11 points and six assists vs. Cornell (Jan. 24), scored 11 points at Princeton (Feb. 27), and netted 10 points at Furman (Dec. 6). Eisendrath distributed a career-high nine assists vs. BU (Nov. 22).
- Sophomore guard Austin Hunt has tallied 7.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game on the year, while shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from 3-point range. Hunt scored a career-high 19 points on 8-of-9 field goals and 3-of-4 3-pointers vs. Holy Cross (Dec. 20). He netted 16 points and hit 4-of-7 treys vs. Dartmouth (Jan. 5). Hunt notched 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists vs. UNH (Nov. 9) and netted 10 points at Furman (Dec. 6). Hunt averaged 7.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 2024-25.
