ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving's Nina Janmyr qualified for the NCAA Championships on the 1-meter springboard after finishing sixth on Monday at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at Lejeune Hall.
Janmyr secured a spot in the finals with a preliminary score of 278.30, the fourth-highest total in the field. Junior Samantha Holtz also advanced to the finals after placing 11th in the prelims with 260.20 points.
In the championship round, Janmyr totaled 547.70 points across six additional dives to finish sixth overall. Holtz concluded the competition in 14th place with 520.65 points. The top seven finishers earned qualification to the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, a mark Janmyr achieved to secure her fourth consecutive NCAA berth.
Tabitha Chen-Fiske, Christina Shi, and Camille Ching also competed in the prelims. Chen-Fiske placed 28th with 243.15 points, Shi finished 51st with 218.15 points, and Ching placed 61st with 199.15 points in the 86-diver field.
