CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Four student-athletes from the Harvard men's squash team were awarded spots on the Collegiate Squash Association All-America teams this season, including Junior Omar Azzam, who landed on the first team. The four Crimson All-America honorees also include David Costales and Denis Gilevskiy, Christian Capella, who earned spots on the second team.
 
Junior Omar Azzam received All-American honors for the first time in his career, landing a selection on the first team. Posting an 11-4 record, the Egyptian competed predominantly in the second position this season for Harvard. Additionally, Azzam received a spot on the All-Ivy second team and finished in the semifinals of the CSA Individual National Championship.
 
First-year Christian Capella inserted himself into the squad and made an instant impact for the Crimson this season. Slotting in primarily at the fourth position on the ladder with a few appearances at the third position, the New York native posted a 12-3 record, which landed him on the All-America second team. Capella's strong 2025-26 campaign earned him Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the All-Ivy second team.
 
A Senior, David Costales earned his third consecutive All-American honors, pairing beautifully with his third consecutive Ivy-League honors. Competing evenly between the number one and two positions on the ladder, the Ecuadorian International won four matchups against Ivy League opponents.
 
Senior Captain, Denis Gilevskiy has received his second straight All-American honor, landing on the second team. A member of the All-Ivy first team, the Ireland native finished with an 8-7 record, starting in the number two spot and finishing the year competing at the first spot on the Crimson ladder.
