Men’s Tennis Opens Ivy League Season with Princeton, Penn Back-to-Back

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis (10-9, 0-0 Ivy) will begin its quest for an Ivy League title this weekend as it welcomes No. 33 Princeton (14-6, 0-1 Ivy) and No. 40 Penn (15-6, 1-0 Ivy) to Cambridge. The Crimson will open the back-to-back against the Tigers on Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET and then face the Quakers on Sunday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

What to Know

  • Harvard wrapped up the first part of the season with a record of 10-9. The Crimson narrowly fell to No. 74 South Florida, 4-3, in the non-conference finale last weekend.
  • Harvard's two matches this weekend will be two of four contests at home in the Ivy League slate. The Crimson have been on the road since March 1.
  • Harvard tied for second in the Ivy League last season with a record of 5-2. Prior to 2025, the Crimson won three consecutive conference titles from 2022 to 2024. In total, Harvard has won 33 Ivy League Championships.
  • Nathan Blokhin is currently pacing the Crimson in singles wins with an overall record of 19-7. The first-year is having a strong first campaign in Cambridge including an 11-3 record in dual matches while competing primarily at the No. 3 spot.
  • Blokhin and Benjamin Privara have tallied eight doubles wins and checked in at No. 77 in the most recent ITA Division I Men's Doubles rankings.
  • Rohan Murali is having a breakout junior season and recently moved into the top singles spot for the Crimson. Murali has accumulated 17 wins so far this season and ranks 103 in the nation for singles.
  • Murali is also a consistent doubles player for the Crimson and has recorded 19 total wins this season.
  • Kolos Kincses has the most doubles wins of any Harvard player this year with a record of 22-6.
  • Kincses and Murali have a nearly unblemished record in the dual season at 13-2. The duo has registered 18 total wins in 2025-26.
  • Harvard leads 63-47 in the all-time series against Princeton. The Crimson has also won nine of the team's last ten meetings.
  • The Crimson has a dominant 86-14 lead in the all-time series with Penn. Harvard fell 4-3 to the Quakers earlier this season but won the last six meetings prior to that.
