AUSTIN, Texas –
Oliver Parker headlined the opening day of the Texas Relays for Harvard Track and Field, qualifying for the 400m Hurdles finals tomorrow afternoon. It was one of several strong results to start the weekend at the University of Texas for the Crimson.
Harvard Highlights
- With a time of 51.40, Oliver Parker finished in ninth place in the prelims of the men's 400m hurdles. The first-year will move on to compete in the finals tomorrow night. Ondrej Vesely (24th, 53.60) and Michal Husek (27th, 54.02) also competed in the event.
- Lilly Hodge placed third in the women's pole vault, clearing 4.10m (13'5.25").
- Alice Mihas came in 17th in the women's hammer throw, logging an attempt of 53.65m (176'.00").
- Philip Andreas Kubon rounded out the day for Harvard with an eighth-place finish in the men's pole vault. Kubon cleared 4.90m (16'0.75") to secure his spot in the top 10.

The Crimson will continue competition at the Texas Relays tomorrow before wrapping up competition on Saturday. Harvard will also be in action at the Pepsi Florida Relays (April 3-4) and the UConn Dog Fight Invite (April 4) this weekend.
