CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis saw four players earn end-of-year Ivy League honors following the conclusion of the regular season, the conference announced today.
Kavya Karra led the way with her first career All-Ivy honor after being named to the Second Team for singles.
Claire Shao and the duo of
Natalie Block and
Natasha Rajaram received All-Ivy Honorable Mention for singles and doubles, respectively.
Charlotte Owensby rounded out the honors by being named to the Academic All-Ivy Team.
Kavya Karra – Second Team All-Ivy Singles
Kavya Karra had a breakout season for the Crimson, competing as one of the team's top overall singles and doubles players. In singles, the New Jersey native accumulated a record of 20-7 going, 12-5 in the dual season and 8-2 in the fall. The junior played primarily at the No. 2 spot for the Crimson but also recorded wins at courts one, three, and four. In Ivy League action, Karra primarily played at the top singles spot and recorded the clinching win as the Crimson upset No. 49 Columbia last weekend. With her 20 singles wins this season, Karra has cracked the top 10 for singles wins in program history since at least 2009 with 52 career wins. Her Second Team All-Ivy nod marks her first career singles honor.
Claire Shao – Honorable Mention All-Ivy Singles
In her first year with the Crimson,
Claire Shao has been a consistent presence in both singles and doubles action. The New Jersey native has the third-most singles wins of any player, accumulating 16 victories in 2025-26. Shao competed primarily at the No. 2 and 3 spot throughout the dual season, tallying four wins at each position. The first-year tallied three wins in Ivy League action including a crucial win to help lift the Crimson over No. 49 Columbia last weekend.
Competing only during the dual season,
Natalie Block and
Natasha Rajaram accumulated a record of 11-5. The duo competed at the No. 2 and 3 spots including going a near-perfect 4-1 at court two. Individually, each player tallied 13 wins total throughout the 2025-26 season. The pairing of Block and Rajaram was dominant during the dual season, going 5-1 overall and leading in an unfinished match. The two played primarily at the No. 2 spot during conference play and contributed to four Harvard doubles points. This is the first All-Ivy honor for either player.
