Luca Alagheband has won Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time in his career, the Ivy League conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Alagheband posted a 0.84 ERA over 10.2 innings pitched last week, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks with 12 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .128 average. In Tuesday's game against Brown, he threw 6.1 innings in the start, permitting one earned run on four hits and two walks with a season-high eight strikeouts. In the series finale vs. Penn, he tossed 4.1 innings in relief, giving up no runs on one hit and no walks with four strikeouts.
Next, Harvard plays at Holy Cross on Tuesday, Apr. 28 at 5:00 p.m. (ESPN+) before playing its final regular season series at Princeton with a doubleheader on Saturday, May 2 at 11:30 a.m. (ESPN+) and a single game on Sunday, May 3 at noon (ESPN+).
