Men’s Lightweight Rowing Wins Third Straight All-Ivy Honors

Varsity eight wins Ivy League Championship, earns first-team honors.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's lightweight rowing claimed gold in the varsity race at the Eastern Sprints Regatta over the weekend to win the program's third consecutive Ivy League Championship. The gold-medal performance for the varsity eight also secured a third straight All-Ivy First Team honor for the boat.
 
Harvard's varsity was coxed by Nathalie Gregg and stroked by captain Ben Lundie. Alex Forbes, Charles Rahdon and Preston Darling complete the stern of the boat. Jackson Violich sat fourth, followed by Zarret Mills, Andrew Buda and bow Kyle Sutherland.
 
Harvard has now won 24 championships at the EARC Sprint Regatta and three under head coach Billy Boyce.
 
The Harvard lights compete again at the IRA National Championships in Sacramento, Calif. May 29-31.
