CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a historic season on the course in 2025-26, the Harvard men's golf trio of sophomores were named to the PING Northeast All-Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced this weekend.

Barry Zhang were among the 25 golfers honored on the Northeast team as the trio all collected their first All-Region honors. The most All-Region honors for the program since 2010, the three awards tie the program record.
The 2026 Ivy League Individual Champion,
Barry Zhang, was named to the All-Region team this season after catching fire late in the season. A Florida native, Zhang became the fifth Harvard golfer to win the Ivy League Championship at Baltusrtol Golf Club (Apr. 24-26) before setting a program record at NCAA Regionals by finishing in fourth place and shooting a team record 11-under-par at UGA Golf Club (May 18-20). Throughout 2025-26, Zhang collected five top 25 finishes and posted a scoring average of 71.6 in 23 total rounds. The sophomore ended the season with a national ranking of 334, a new high for Zhang.

William Ma earned a spot on the All-Region team after another strong season in 2025-26. The California native finished inside the top 25 in five tournaments and inside the top 10 twice throughout the season. His best finish came at the Princeton Invitational (Apr. 11-12), where he used a hole-in-one to move up the leaderboard to finish in second place. A member of the 2026 Ivy League All-Championship team, Ma also placed fifth at the 2026 conference tournament at Baltusrol Golf Club (Apr. 24-26). With a scoring average of 72.6 this season, Ma ranked third on the Crimson and in the top 15 in the Ivy League.
One of the most consistent golfers on the Crimson this season,
Ieuan Jones earned his first career All-Region honor after six top 25 finishes in the 2025-26 season. The Michigan native posted a scoring average of 72.2 in 23 rounds this season to rank second on the Crimson and in the top 15 in the Ivy League. A member of the 2026 Ivy League All-Championship Team, Jones' best placement of the season came by way of a T4 finish at the 2026 conference championship at Baltusrol Golf Club (Apr. 24-26).
Led by this trio of sophomore golfers, the Crimson is primed for another strong season in 2026-27. The team will return every golfer to its lineup next season and will begin its chase for back-to-back Ivy League Championships when it returns to the course in September.
