CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing capped its season with a program-record 10 All-Americans, it was announced Monday evening. The Crimson had three skippers recognized on both the open and women's sides, and four crew honored for their performance in 2025-26.
 
Justin Callahan, Mitchell Callahan and Robby Meek landed on the open skipper list, with Kate Danielson, Zoey Ziskind and Sophia Montgomery (honorable mention) earning women's skipper accolades. Christina Chen, Rosella Irfan, Jacob Posner and JJ Drummond (honorable mention) rounded out the Crimson honorees as crew All-Americans.
 
With today's announcement, Justin Callahan became the program's first four-time open All-America skipper. This comes on the heels of the senior earning his second straight ICSA College Sailor of the Year Award, a feat that had not been accomplished in school history. In fact, Callahan became the first athlete in program history to win the award on more than one occasion. The other Crimson sailors to have won the award were Sean Doyle '02 (2002), Clayton Bischoff '03 (2003), Ewell Potts '04 (2004) and Lachlain McGranahan '24 (2024). Harvard has now boasted the sport's top college sailor three years in a row.
 
Mitchell Callahan ended his career with his second straight open All-America accolade after earning honorable mention recognition his first two campaigns. Joining the outgoing senior as a newly minted two-time All-American was Ziskind. The rising senior was named to the All-NEISA Women's First Team and helped the Crimson have at least one women's skipper All-American in three straight seasons for the first time since 2004-06. Cordelia Burn was an All-American in 2024 and 2025, along with Ziskind, and now the California native makes it three consecutive years with today's appointment.
 
Danielson (women's) and Meek (open), meanwhile, were first-time All-America skippers, with Posner, Chen and Irfan joining as crew. Posner is the first first-year to earn All-America crew accolades since Kennedy Leehealey in 2023. Montgomery (women's skipper) and Drummond (crew) were honorable mention performers and garnered their first career nods.
 
Harvard is coming off an excellent season with the Crimson capturing the ICSA Match Race National Championship and ICSA Open Team Race National Championship, with the latter serving as the program's third in four years. Meek also secured the ICSA Open Singlehanded National Championship, with Montgomery finishing in third place and Danielson in ninth at the women's singlehanded regatta. Harvard also took fourth at the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship, third at the ICSA Women's Fleet Race National Championship and seventh at the ICSA Open Fleet Race National Championship. Harvard's performance at national regattas resulted in the program earning the Leonard M. Fowle Trophy, which is presented to the best all-around college sailing team. It marked the team's first Fowle Trophy since 2005.
