Sam King '25 Selected for PLL All-Star Game

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – For the second consecutive season, former Harvard men's lacrosse standout Sam King '25 has been selected as a Premier Lacrosse League All-Star, adding another professional milestone to one of the most decorated careers in Crimson history.

Now a two-time PLL All-Star, King will represent the West All-Stars when they take on the Eastern Conference during the league's holiday weekend showcase. The contest is slated for 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland, with all the action airing live on ESPN and the ESPN App.

A dynamic attackman/midfielder for the Utah Archers, King has continued his rapid rise at the professional level, totaling 14 points on 11 goals and three assists through six games in 2026. Among PLL midfielders, King ranks tied for fourth in points and tied for second in goals, building on a breakout rookie season in which he led the Archers in points and earned his first All-Star selection.

King's professional success follows a historic run at Harvard, where he established himself as one of the most complete offensive players in college lacrosse. A 2025 Tewaaraton Award finalist, King became the first player in Harvard men's lacrosse history to reach 100 career goals, 100 career assists and 100 career ground balls. He closed his Crimson career ranked second all-time in program history with 241 points, tied for third with 131 goals and fifth with 110 assists.

As a senior captain in 2025, King earned USILA First-Team All-America honors, becoming Harvard's first First-Team All-American in 63 years. He also helped lead the Crimson to the Ivy League and NCAA Tournaments before becoming the first Harvard player selected in the PLL College Draft. Since then, King has quickly translated his versatile, two-way skill set to the professional game, emerging as one of the Archers' most consistent offensive threats and one of the league's rising young stars.

King headlines the quartet of former Crimson in the professional ranks. His classmate, Ray Dearth '25, has become an impact performer in the defensive midfield for the Carolina Chaos. 2026 graduates Logan Ip (Boston Cannons) and Teddy Malone (Carolina Chaos) are emerging talents on each of their teams.
