DUISBURG, Germany -- Eight Harvard men's heavyweight student-athletes medaled at the World Rowing U23 Championship over the weekend.
Kynan Tallec-Botos and Harvard's varsity eight coxswain helped Great Britain win gold in the 8+.
All three countries on the podium in the 8+ featured athletes from Harvard with
Marcus Chung and
Sam Gallaudet earning silver with the United States and
Sam Woodgate earning bronze with New Zealand.
Jack Hansen-Knarhoi won wilver in the 2- for Australia.
Jordan Dykema was part of Team USA's bronze-medal winning 4-. Rounding out the Harvard medalist group was incoming first-year Jack Rafferty, who was part of Ireland's bronze 2x pair.
