Women’s Hockey Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

Defending Beanpot champs open new season October 16.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's ice hockey team released its 2026-27 schedule, which opens on October 16, on Thursday morning. The Crimson's 30-game slate begins with a home-and-home series against Holy Cross with the home opener on October 17 at Bright-Landry Hockey Center.

The Crimson is under the direction of The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey Laura Bellamy '13, who enters her fourth season behind the bench. Senior Zoe Boosamra will captain Harvard for a second consecutive season and is joined by classmates Kaley MacDonald and Gwyn Lapp.

The home opener begins a five-game homestand that continues against St. Michael's (Oct. 23), New Hampshire (Oct. 24) and an ECAC-opening weekend against Clarkson (Oct. 30) and St. Lawrence (Oct. 31).
 
Harvard this the road for back-to-back conference weekends beginning with Brown (Nov. 6) and Yale (Nov. 7) followed by Cornell (Nov. 13) and Colgate (Nov. 14) leading into an off weekend.
 
Play resumes Thanksgiving weekend with a home-and-home against Dartmouth (Nov. 27-28) with game one in Cambridge. The final action of the first half of the season comes a week later with home dates against Princeton (Dec. 4) and Quinnipiac (Dec. 5).
 
The Crimson begins the new calendar year hosting LIU in non-conference place on January 2 and 3. A six-game homestand, extending back to the fall semester, wraps up against Colgate (Jan. 8) and Cornell (Jan. 9).
 
The 2026 Beanpot champs begin the defense of their title on Tuesday, January 12 against Northeastern. The 2027 Beanpot semifinals will be hosted by Boston College at Conte Forum.
 
ECAC play continues with a home weekend for Harvard against RPI (Jan. 15) and Union (Jan. 16) before the Beanpot championship returns to TD Garden on Tuesday, January 19.
 
Harvard plays its next two weekends on the road beginning with Quinnipiac (Jan. 22) and Princeton (Jan. 23) and followed by St. Lawrence (Jan. 29) and Clarkson (Jan. 30). When the calendar rolls over to February, the Crimson plays its final home weekend against Yale (Feb. 5) and Brown (Feb. 6) before closing out the regular season on the road against Union (Feb. 12) and RPI (Feb. 13).
 
ECAC Championship opening rounds games will be played on February 19 and 20. The best-of-three quarterfinals are scheduled for February 26-28. The ECAC Championship semifinals and championship will be played at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y. on March 5 and 6.
 
Harvard is coming off a 16-15-3 season, featuring the largest turnaround in Division I with a plus-14 in the win column. The Crimson went 8-11-3 in the ECAC and reached the quarterfinals plus won the 2026 Beanpot and played in the championship game of the Friendship Four in Northern Ireland.
