CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In preparation for the 2026-27 track & field and cross country season, Harvard adds Isabella Pietrasiewicz to its coaching staff as a new assistant coach. Pietrasiewicz will work closely with the men's and women's middle distance and distance groups.

During her distance career with Dartmouth, Pietrasiewicz was a standout distance runner for the Big Green, serving as a team captain during her tenure in Hanover, New Hampshire. Pietrasiewicz ranks third all-time in the NCAA in the 1000m, as she also garnered All-Ivy League First Team honors in the 4x800m relay during the 2023 outdoor season. Along with her accomplishments on the track and the trail, Pietrasiewicz also garnered Academic All-Ivy League honors twice in her Big Green career.

Pietrasiewicz began her coaching career with the Massachusetts State Track & Field Association as a summer camp coach and counselor in the summers of 2023 and 2024. Working with a high-level competition group, Pietrasiewicz organized and constructed practice and training regimens. Pietrasiewicz also focused on injury prevention and cultivating a nutritional plan for injury-prone athletes.

Along with her work with the Massachusetts State Track & Field Association, Pietrasiewicz also held roles with MPE Partners and Steer Partners in the private equity sector. Pietrasiewicz graduated from Dartmouth College in 2025 with a bachelor of arts degree in cognitive science.
