CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing collected NEISA Sailor-of-the-Week honors after it captured the Toni Deutsch Trophy this past weekend on the Charles River at MIT. Recognized this week are Zoey Ziskind, Christina Chen, Kate Danielson and JJ Drummond.
 
The duo of Ziskind and Chen had seven top three finishes in the 10-race series, taking the A-Division win by six points over second-place Brown and 20 points over third-place Tufts. The duo of Danielson and Drummond, meanwhile, had six top three finishes in the 10-race event and claimed second place in the B-Division, eight points behind the winning Roger Williams boat. The combined performances led to a commanding overall victory by the Crimson, which won by a 53-point margin over runner-up Brown.
 
Harvard is now preparing for this week's action, which consists of the NEISA Singlehanded Championships (Sept. 18-19), with Boston College serving as the host institution, and the one-day Hatch Brown Trophy (MIT host), Regis Trophy (Harvard host) and Mystic Lake Invitational (Tufts host). The latter four regattas are slated for Sept. 19.
