CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing finished first at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl and came in seventh at the Hoyt Trophy in a stormy weekend in New England.
Kate Danielson and
JJ Drummond competed for the Crimson in the A division at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl and finished first ahead of 17 other teams. The Crimson led the top five that consisted of Tufts, Yale, and two Brown boats. It is Harvard's second first place finish in three weekends and fifth top five finish.
At the Hoyt Trophy, Harvard finished seventh out of 16 teams. The Crimson accumulated 80 points in the A division and 66 in the B division to finish with 146 and 13 points out of a top five finish. The event only took place on Sunday due to the nor'easter making its way through New England.
Harrison Strom and
Zia Zucker competed for the Crimson in the A division while
Zoey Ziskind,
William Bourell, and
Amelie Zucker handled the B division.
