Earned First Team 6A All-State honors as a defensive end and tight end… Captured First Team All-Conference (Mid-Penn Commonwealth) as a defensive end and tight end… Selected for The Big 33 Football Classic, an all-star game for players from Pennsylvania and Maryland… Gained school’s Dick Morgan Memorial Award for Sportsmanship and Karen Bruno Ganter Memorial Sacrifice and Commitment Award… Served team as a two-year captain… Earned four varsity letters… Helped lead team to an undefeated regular season as a senior, winning the Mid-Penn Commonwealth title, District 6 championship, and reaching the state semifinals with a 13-1 final record… Also competed in lacrosse; served team as a game captain on multiple occasions and earned All-State accolades… Honor Roll student and National Honor Society member… Garnered the All-Academic Gold Team Award four times… National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award winner… Volunteered with local flag football leagues and football camps… Has played the piano since age five… Son of Tina and Jim Scourtis; Jim played tight end for Penn State football.
