Earned THSCA Second Team Academic All-State honors… Captured the “Not Without Honor” Athletic Award all four years… Gained the Athletic Achievement Award in 2024 … Served team as a senior captain… Also competed in soccer and track & field; captained track team as a senior… National Merit Scholar finalist and an AP Scholar with Distinction… Served as Student Body President in 2023-24… Acted as Co-President of school’s African American Affinity Group as a senior… Gained the Scotty Caven Senior Award in 2024 and the Maverick Award in 2022… Plays the piano and guitar and also sings… Enjoys learning about history and new styles of music… Son of Kimberly and Michael Murphy; Kimberly attended Harvard Business School and Michael attended Harvard Law School.
