Before Harvard: Spent four seasons with the USHL’s Waterloo Blackhawks, totaling 18 goals and 31 assists … Helped the Blackhawks win the 2014 Anderson Cup Championship and to a silver medal finish at the 2013 Junior World Club Cup … Played two seasons with the NAHL’s Janesville Jets scoring 11 goals and tallying 29 assists … He also played one season for the Tartan Titans … Played his high school for Joseph A. Craig and West Waterloo high schools … In the classroom he finished Valedictorian of his class, was named the 2013 USHL Scholar Athlete of the Year Award and the 2013 Leading Scholar Award. His uncle Jeff played football for Wisconsin-River Falls and in the European Football League and his cousin Gustavus currently plays hockey for Adolphus University.
