Conrad Kaminski

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Conrad Kaminski joined the Harvard Men’s Volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in December of 2023. Kaminski, who played collegiately at Stanford, brings with him AAU coaching experience to the Crimson.

During the 2024 season, Kaminski helped lead the Crimson to a 12-13 overall record and an EIVA Tournament semifinals appearance.  In his first year on the sideline, Kaminski was instrumental in the development of four EIVA weekly honors recipients and First-Team All-EIVA honoree, Ethan Smith.

A Wisconsin native, Kaminski played four seasons with the Cardinal and left Northern California as one of the best players to wear a Stanford uniform. A three-time all-MPSF selection and All-American, Kaminski sits atop the Cardinal record book in career hitting efficiency (.462), career blocks per set (1.11), single-season hitting efficiency (.505), single-season blocks per set (1.45), single-match hitting efficiency (.833) and single-match blocks (12). Following his senior campaign, Kaminski was the recipient of the 2016 Ryan Millar Award, which is presented to the nation’s top middle blocker.

Kaminski’s playing experience is decorated, starting with his 2012 USA Junior National Training Team invitation and his inclusion on the 2015 USA Pan-American Team. During his time in Palo Alto, he helped Stanford to a national runner-up performance in 2014, before playing overseas in Italy for Bunge Ravenna (2016-17) and GCF Scarabeo Roma (2017). In between his stints with the Italian teams, Kaminski trained with the USA Olympic Team in 2017 and then played for Volleyball United (2017-19), winning the USAV Open National Championship.

When Kaminski’s playing career was complete, he transitioned to the coaching ranks, leading Mountain View Volleyball Club U14 from 2018-20. After a pause for the global pandemic, Kaminski returned to Mountain View (2022-23) as head coach, leading the club to a 17-2 record and an all-time-best third-place finish at the AAU SoCal Cup, which was then followed by a fifth-place performance at AAU Club Nationals.
