Brandi Gordon joined the Harvard softball team as a coachingassistant in 2009. Gordon enters her fifth season with the team in2013, where she will serve as the first assistant coach. Harvardhas won at least 27 games every season Gordon has been with theteam, and the Crimson has claimed two Ivy League Championships andthree Ivy North Division titles during her tenure. 

Gordon helped the Crimson post a 17-3 mark in Ivy League play in2010, and earn the Ivy North Division title and a berth in the 2010Ivy League Championship series against Cornell. In 2011, she was akey part of a Harvard team that broke the school record for wins ina season (36) and Ivy League wins in a season (18). The 2011 squadalso produced the league Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Year,swept Cornell in the league championship series and advanced to theTucson, Ariz., Regional in the NCAA Tournament.

Harvard was able to repeat its success in 2012 as the Crimsonposted a 35-15 overall mark and breezed to the Ivy LeagueChampionship Series with a 17-3 league record. A sweep of Penn inthe championship series earned Harvard a spot in the NCAA SeattleRegional where it notched upsets over Maryland and No. 23 TexasTech in back-to-back elimination games to earn the program's firstberth in an NCAA Regional final. Gordon played a vital role inseeing 11 players earn All-Ivy League accolades.

Gordon was an assistant coach for Seattle during the 2008season. She worked with the team's slap hitters, coached outfielddefense and directed the Redhawks' conditioning program.

In 2007, Gordon was the director of softball operations and campcoordinator at Washington, which finished in third place at the2007 NCAA Women's College World Series. She has also coached manycamps and clinics and has worked as a private softballinstructor.

Gordon was a four-year softball letterwinner at the Universityof the Pacific from 2002 to 2005. She was a catcher her first twoyears at Pacific but then made a successful move to the outfieldfor her junior and senior seasons.

In her senior year, Gordon was a second-team All-Big Westselection as well as a third-team ESPN The MagazineAcademic All-America pick.

A native of Redmond, Wash., Gordon attended Redmond High Schooland was a multi-sport letterwinner in volleyball, basketball, andsoftball. She graduated from the University of the Pacific with asports sciences degree and a teaching credential in physicaleducation.
