Head coach
Jenny Allard announced the hiring of Jenny Rohn as the program's new assistant coach on July 7, 2021. Returning to the Crimson's coaching staff, Rohn previously served as an assistant coach from 2017-20.
Rohn heads back to Cambridge after a one-year stint as the head coach of the Covenant softball program. In her first year at the helm, Rohn led the Scots to an 18-18 overall and 7-7 mark in conference play. Rohn coached the first NFCA All-Region First Team selection in program history, while producing a program-record six All-USA South West honorees.
During her previous time with the Crimson, Rohn helped the program to a pair of Ivy League titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances. In those years, Harvard went 30-12 against Ivy League competition and produced 15 All-Ivy honorees. Rohn also spent one season as a volunteer assistant at Harvard in 2016. A native of Rochester Hills, Mich., Rohn previously served as a volunteer assistant at Harvard during the 2016 season, helping guide the Crimson to a 29-17 record, including a 16-4 mark in Ivy League play capped off by a North Division Championship.
Rohn completed her master of science degree in psychology at the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2017. While at ULM, Rohn served as a graduate assistant coach and helped guide the Warhawks to one of its best seasons (32-30), the second team in program history to reach the 30-win mark. Prior to joining the ULM staff, Rohn returned to her home state of Michigan, leading Birmingham Groves High School to a District Championship as head coach. Rohn was named MHSAA 2016 Division 1 District Coach of the Year.
Rohn had a standout softball career at Western Michigan, where she served as captain her junior and senior seasons. She graduated from Western Michigan in 2015, earning Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Elementary Education.
