 Four-year letterwinner and two-time captain for Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School … Led the Villains to four-straight NCHSAA 1A state championships, breaking the North Carolina record for most-consecutive state championships (nine) … Finished her career with 1,001 points … Three-time all-conference and all-region athlete … Earned the state championship team MVP a sophomore and junior … Invited to the USA U16 tryouts at the Olympic Training Center in 2011 … Played in the North Carolina/South Carolina All-Star Game and the East/West North Carolina All-Star Game … Twice broke the school record for charges taken in a season with 28 as a junior and 37 as a senior … Daughter of Barbara, who played basketball at UNC Charlotte, and Mark Nieters, who played baseball for the 49ers.
