The longest-tenured assistant on the women'sside of the Ivy League, Stacey Noel enters her 11th season on thebasketball staff as the top assistant for Kathy Delaney-Smith, andher eighth season as the recruiting coordinator for the Crimson.

In her previous 10 seasons, Noel has helpedguide Harvard to five Ivy League titles and a 166-109 (.603)overall record. In Ivy play alone, the Crimson has gone 105-35(.75) with Noel on the sideline.

Noel was a standout at nearby Waltham High,graduating as the school's all-time scoring and rebounding leader.She was a four-time News Tribune Player of the Year as well asbeing named to the Boston Globe and Boston HeraldDream Teams and a USA Today Honorable Mention High SchoolAll-America.

Her athletic success continued into hercollegiate career at Bentley, where she was a two-timeAll-Northeast-10 selection and Kodak Honorable Mention All-Americaselection, as well as a GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American. Shegraduated 12th all-time in career scoring at Bentley, amassing1,144 points. The Falcons made four trips to the NCAA tournamentduring her collegiate career, including two regional finals, onesemifinal appearance and compiled an overall record of 107-20(.843). That percentage rises in NE-10 action where the Falconswere a dominating 64-8 (.889) during Noel's four years. As ajunior, the Falcons went 27-7 and Noel was the team's leadingscorer (11.9 ppg) and rebounder (6.5 rpg.)

Noel, who works primarily with the post players,has helped develop some of the all-time Crimson greats, including2,000-point scorer Hana Peljto '04 and four-time first team All-Ivyselection and 2005 Ivy Player of the Year Reka Cserny '05. In herprevious nine seasons in Cambridge, Noel has seen three differentHarvard post players earn nine first team All-Ivy selections, aswell as three Ivy Player of the Year awards.

The former Stacey Connors married Brian Noel on Oct. 14, 2006and the couple welcomed their first child, Connor Robert on Oct.20, 2007.
