Liz Keady

Liz Keady joined the Harvard women's hockey staff in June 2015 as an assistant coach under Katey Stone.

The 2015-16 campaign saw the Crimson post a 17-12-3 overall record, including a 12-7-3 mark in ECAC hockey play. Playing one of the nation's toughest schedules, Harvard tallied six wins over ranked opponents. Keady mentored a pair of attackers, Miye D'Oench and Sydney Daniels, that eclipsed the one-point per game barrier. Both players earned ECAC Hockey Player of the Month accolades to go with All-ECAC Hockey and All-Ivy recognition. The Crimson added five victories in 2017, with seniors Sydney Daniels and Briana Mastel bolstering a young roster to earn All-Ivy recognition.

Prior to joining the Crimson, Keady spent one year as an assistant coach at Union College, after serving two seasons as head coach for the girl's varsity hockey team at Andover (Mass.) High School, coaching the girl's varsity lacrosse team as well.

Keady, who graduated from Princeton in 2008, also has directed the North Shore Vipers Select program, working with the U-19 and U-16 teams and conducting skills sessions for age groups U-10 through U-19. Since June 2008, Keady has served as General Manager and Director of Hockey Training at the Institute of Performance & Fitness in Andover. In this role, she worked as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, developing sport specific training programs for hockey athletes, many of whom play at the Division I level.  Keady has also been an instructor at hockey camps in New Jersey and Massachusetts.

A native of Braintree, Mass., Keady scored 79 points on 38 goals, 41 assists in 118 career games as a forward at Princeton. She was named the Tigers' team MVP and Most Improved Player following the 2004-05 season, scoring a career-high 15 goals. That same season, she earned All-ECAC Hockey Honorable Mention and All-Ivy Second Team accolades as well.

Keady also has spent time with the U.S. National Team, as she appeared in 16 games during the team's 2005 Pre-Olympic Tour.
