Walter Norton

Walter Norton Jr. owns and directs the Institute of Performance and Fitness (IPF), located in North Reading, Massachusetts. The 10,000-plus square foot facility is dedicated to changing and enhancing the lifestyles and fitness habits of motivated individuals. IPF is in its 10th year of successfully helping people “get better”.

Norton has helped prepare clients for film, television, and entertainment.  He has trained and prepared Ben Affleck for 10 movies, including “Batman v Superman.” Other clients have included Garner, Seacrest, Ciara and Damon. Walter’s professional and collegiate sports resume includes:

  • 2008 NBA Champion Boston Celtics
  • New England Revolution (MLS)
  • Boston Breakers (WUSA)
  • Boston Bruins (NHL)
  • 1998 Gold Medal Women’s Olympic Hockey Team
  • Boston University Men’s Hockey (NCAA)
  • 40 medalists for the 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2010 Olympic Games
  • Trained Multiple “Stars” in Prep for Movies/Television/Concerts/Media
  • Founded, Owned + Directed Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning for 10yrs+ before Starting IPF to facilitate improvement in a more personal environment.
