Christine Wu ''12

Christine Wu ’12 begins her second season as a member ofJen Weiss’ coaching staff after enjoying a decorated careeron the court for the Crimson.

On the sidelines, Wu helped the Crimson to a 7-7 Ivy Leaguerecord in 2012 marking the program's first season at .500 or betterin conference play since 2009. Wu also coached a pair of All-IvyLeague recipients, one Academic All-Ivy honoree and one Capital OneAcademic All-District selection.

Wu is one of only four student-athletes in Harvard women’svolleyball history to be named All-Ivy League four times, and was asecond team selection as a senior in 2011. That same year shebecame Harvard’s career leader in digs with 1,841, good forsecond all-time in the Ivy League, and set a single-season programrecord with 523 digs. As co-captain Wu helped the Crimson to a12-12 overall record, marking the first time since 2004 Harvard hasfinished with a winning percentage of .500 or better.

Wu also ranks seventh in program history with 93 service acesand owns the first, third and fourth positions on Harvard’ssingle-season digs list. She finished her career averaging 4.79digs per set.

Wu’s accolades went beyond the court as she was a two-timeESPN The Magazine Academic All-District selection and wasnamed to the fall 2011 Academic All-Ivy League team. She graduatedfrom Harvard in May of 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in humanevolutionary biology.
