The Game:
No. 6 Harvard hosts No. 15 Brown in a key Ivy League contest this
afternoon at Ohiri Field. The Crimson enters the game unbeaten in
conference play with a 1-0-1 record, while Brown is tied for first
with a 2-0 mark.

Last Time Out:
Harvard suffered its second loss of the season, falling at No. 17
Connecticut by a 4-0 margin Wednesday. Austin Harms made five saves
in the contest for Harvard.
Series History:
Harvard owns a controlling 45-27-11 lead in the all-time series
against Ivy League rival Brown. The teams first met in 1926, a 4-0
Harvard win. Last season, the Crimson earned a 4-1 victory in
Providence, R.I., on Oct. 18, 2008.
About Harvard:
The Crimson, which owns a perfect 4-0 record at Ohiri Field this
season, has won its last 10 games at home, dating back to 2007.
Harvard is outscoring opponents, 20-8, including 11-4 in the second
half. The Crimson is also outshooting teams by a substantial
margin, 191-125, and has the edge in corner kicks earned,
67-45.
Andre Akpan (seven goals, five assists) and
Brian Rogers (five goals, three assists) are first and second on
the team in scoring with 19 and 15 points, respectively. Desmond
Mitchell (two goals, two assists) and Jamie Rees (two goals) have
also netted multiple goals this season, while Rogers paces the team
with three game-winning tallies. Adam Rousmaniere has handed out
four assists to add to Harvard's scoring attack.
In goal, Austin Harms boasts a 7-2-1 record in the 10 games he has
started this fall. He has recorded four shutouts and boasts a 0.79
goals-against average, while owning a .789 save percentage.
About Brown:
The Bears have won three straight games and are still unbeaten on
the season, owning a 7-0-4 overall record. In conference play,
Brown has beaten Columbia, 2-1, and Princeton, 4-2.
Brown's offense is led by the trio of Sean Rosa, Nick
Elenz-Martin and Austin Mandel who have scored four goals each.
Rosa has also dished out five assists to pace the team with 13
points. Between the pipes, Paul Grandstrand has seen most of the
action and is 6-0-4 with three shutouts and a 0.84 goals-against
average. Brown has outscored the opposition by a 24-10 margin this
fall and is almost doubling opponents in corner kicks, 71-37.
Late Heroics:
With Harvard trailing 1-0 in the 77th minute at Cornell last
Saturday, Alex Chi notched his first goal of the season in dramatic
fashion to help the Crimson earn a 1-1 tie in an Ivy League road
game.
Down the Stretch They Come:
Including today's game against Brown, Harvard has six games
remaining in the regular season, four of which will be played at
the friendly confines of Ohiri Field where the team is 4-0 this
season.
