CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard senior guard Jeremy
Lin has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week for the second
consecutive week in an announcement by the league office Monday
afternoon.
It is the third award of the season for Lin and the sixth of his
career. Lin was also named to Andy Katz's Team of the Week on
ESPN.com.
Teammate Keith Wright also earned mention this week with his
selection to the Honor Roll.
Lin guided Harvard top its second-straight win at Boston
College, 74-67, with a game-high 25 points on 7-of-10 shooting from
the floor and 10-for-12 from the free throw line while also adding
four assists.
In his last three games against BCS teams (Boston College,
Connecticut, Boston College), Lin is averaging 27.3 points, 5.0
rebounds, 5.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks while shooting
29-for-44 (.659).
Wright scored a career-high 21 points in Harvard's win at Boston
College, shooting 9-for-14 from the floor in 31 minutes.

Harvard's 74-67 win at Boston College maintained Harvard's
best start to a season (7-2) since 1984-85 ... The Crimson
outrebounded Boston College, which had more than doubled-up Miami
on the glass (43-21) in its previous game ... Harvard shot 50
percent for the game ... Taking away an eight-minute scoreless
drought, Harvard shot 60 percent overall ... The Crimson limited BC
to 37.5 percent shooting on the night ... Harvard outscored BC in
the paint, 40-26 ... Harvard's bench has outscored its opponents'
every game this season ... Lin moved past Matt Stehle '06 (1,151)
into 15th place on the all-time scoring list with 1,174
points ... By starting 6-of-6 Wednesday night, Lin had made 17 of
his last 20 shot attempts dating back to the UConn game.
