The Game:
The Harvard women's soccer team looks to extend its winning streak
to four games when the Crimson visits Brown in an Ivy League
contest Saturday at 2 p.m. The Crimson enters the weekend
5-4-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the Ancient Eight, while the Bears are
5-4-3 and 0-1-2 in the Ivy League.

About Harvard:
The Crimson is coming off a 2-0 victory at home against Cornell
Oct. 9. Lindsey Kowal and
Kerry Kartsonis supplied the Harvard offense with a goal apiece,
while Jessica Wright recorded her first career shutout, making
three saves.
Katherine
Sheeleigh (5-4-14) leads the team with 14 points and is 23rd in
the nation with 1.75 points per game. She is now sixth all
time in Harvard history with 68 points and sixth in goals scored
with 27. With five goals on the season, Sheeleigh is tied
with Melanie
Baskind for the team lead. Peyton Johnson, Alexandra
Conigliaro, Elizabeth
Weisman, and Patricia Yau have
all scored once this season.
Goalkeepers Jessica Wright
(4-2-0) and Alexandra
Millet (1-2-1) have split time in net. Millet has started four
games with a 1.76 goals against average and 17 saves, while Wright
also owns a 1.76 goals-against mark with 32 saves.
About Brown:
The Bears are 1-1-2 in their last four contests, but dropped their
last game, 1-0, at Princeton Oct. 9. Brown is unbeaten at home this
fall, going 3-0-3 during that stretch.
With three goals and three assists, Gina Walker leads the Bears
with nine points, while Mika Siegelman (3-0-6) is tied for first in
goals. Maddie Weiner (2-1-5), Kiersten Berg (2-0-4) and Erika
Lum (2-0-4) have also notched multiple scores this season.
Goalkeepers M.C. Barrett and Amber Bledsoe have each played in all
12 games this season, with Bledsoe starting all of them. She
is 2-3-2 with an 1.17 goals-against average and 17 saves.
Barrett, meanwhile owns a 3-1-1 mark with 38 stops and a 1.03
goals-against mark. Brown has outscored teams, 16-14, in its
12 games this fall.

Katherine
Sheeleigh has been named a finalist for the prestigious Lowe's
Senior CLASS Award for displaying both on-field and off-field
excellence. Fans can vote for Sheeleigh online here until Nov. 14. Fan votes will be combined with
media and coaches votes to determine the winner. The winner will be
announced at the Women's College Cup in December.
A History Lesson:
Harvard leads the all-time series against Brown, 20-17-3, and has
won the last two meetings between the schools. Last season on
Oct. 17, the Crimson earned a 1-0 victory in overtime at Ohiri
Field, as Katherine
Sheeleigh netted the game-winner in the 93rd
minute.
Around the Ivy League:
The Crimson heads into the weekend tied for third with Penn in the
Ancient Eight with six points and a 2-1-0 record. Princeton
(3-0-0, nine points) and Columbia (2-0-1, seven points) sit first
and second, respectively, in the conference. In other Ivy
games Saturday, Yale visits Cornell, Columbia welcomes Princeton
and Dartmouth hosts Penn.
Coming Up:
The Crimson will visit Siena in a non-conference matchup Tuesday,
Oct. 19 at 3 p.m., before heading to Princeton, N.J., to take on
the Tigers Saturday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.
