The Game:
Harvard hosts Quinnipiac in the final non-conference game of the
season. The Crimson, which is coming off an impressive 4-0
victory at Princeton, enters the week 6-6-1 while the Bobcats are
5-6-3 overall. Harvard boasts a 3-4-1 record against
non-conference foes this fall.

About Harvard:
The Crimson stands tied for second with Princeton in the Ivy
League with a 3-2-0 record. Harvard, wich has amassed nine points
this season, trailed Penn (3-1-1) and Columbia (3-1-1) by one point
in the conference standings.
Katherine
Sheeleigh (7-5-19) leads the team with 19 points. With five
goals on the season, Sheeleigh is tied with Melanie Baskind
(7-3-17)for the team lead in goals with seven. In Harvard's
4-0 win at Princeton, Baskind scored two goals and assisted on two
other tallies to finish the game with a career-best six points.
Goalkeepers Alexandra
Millet (2-4-1) and Jessica Wright
(4-2-0) have split time in net. Millet made five saves to earn the
shutout at Princeton and sports a 1.57 goals-agianst average on the
season.
About Quinnipiac:
The Bobcats are coming off a 1-0 victory on the road at Bryant
Friday. The team is 2-1-1 in its last four games, but is
1-4-3 in road contests this fall.
Furtuna Velaj (5-4-14) and Jillian Strassner (4-1-9) have combined
for nine of Quinnipiac's 16 goals. Strassner paces the team with
three game-winning tallies, while Velaj has mustered 68 shots,
including 29 on net.
Goalkeeper Jillian Kelley has started every game in net and is
5-6-3 with three clean sheets. She also boasts a 1.30 goals-against
average, to go along with 68 saves and a .782 save percentage.
Opponents have outscored the Bobcats, 19-16, including 11-8 in the
first half. Quinnipiac has earned 86 corner kicks, while its
opponents have 51 on the season.
A History Lesson:
Harvard has played Cornell annually since 1980 defeating the Big
Red in the inaugural game, 5-0, at home. The Crimson leads the all
time series 20-3-6. Harvard has shut out Cornell 16 times, with 11
of those shutouts coming at home.
Climbing The Charts:
With her 19 points this fall, Katherine
Sheeleigh has moved to sixth on Harvard's all-time scoring list
with 73 points. She is also fifth with 29 career goals.
Melanie Baskind now stands 11th with 50 career points and 12th with
17 goals.

Katherine Sheeleigh has been named a finalist for the prestigious
Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for displaying both on-field and
off-field excellence. Fans can vote for Sheeleigh online until Nov.
14 at SeniorCLASSAward.com. Fan votes will be combined with
media and coaches votes to determine the winner. The winner will be
announced at the Women's College Cup in December.
Coming Up:
The Crimson will play its final road game of the regular season at
Dartmouth Saturday, Oct. 30 at 4:30 p.m. Harvard will then return
home for Senior Day against Columbia Nov. 6.
