CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --  Austin Harms made three saves and Ben Tsuda tallied a goal, as the Harvard men's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie against Cornell in an Ivy League game Saturday afternoon at Ohiri Field.  The tie moves the Crimson to 4-3-4 overall and 1-0-1 in the Ivy League, while the Big Red is now 3-3-4 and 0-1-1 in the Ancient Eight. 

In a scoreless first half, Harvard owned a 7-3 advantage in shots, including 2-1 in shots on net.  In the second, each team's offense was able to create chances, with Cornell outshooting Harvard, 8-6, in the frame.  In the 62nd minute, the Crimson struck first, as Tsuda fired a shot on goal, which Rick Pflasterer dove to his left to stop.  Pflasterer was not able to control the rebound, giving Tsuda another opportunity to score.  Tsuda ran to the ball and kicked a second shot that hit the back of the net at 61:17.

With time winding down in regulation, Cornell knotted the game at 88:14 when Chase Aaronson launched the ball off a deflected shot from 20 yards out.  In overtime, each team managed two shots, but none on goal.  Cornell owned a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks for the game, while Harvard led the way in shots, 16-12.
