The Harvard men's soccer team earned a cumulative
grade-point average of 3.45 during the 2010-11 academic year (Gil
Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's soccer
team has been honored for its success in the class room, as the
Crimson received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America
Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
To be earn the award, a team must post a cumulative grade-point
average of 3.0 or better. Harvard earned a team GPA of 3.45 during
the 2010-11 campaign to earn the distinction.
Junior defender Richard Smith was also recently honored on the
Capital One Academic All-District first team.
