CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Danielle Tetreault of the No. 13 Harvard women's
lacrosse team has been named to the Inside Lacrosse
Preseason All-America third team, the publication announced
Wednesday.
Tetreault was a first team all-region and second team all-Ivy
selection in 2011. She ranked second on the team in points (49) and
goals (42), and led the Crimson in assists (7) and draw controls
(29). Her 2.63 goals per game were good for 31st in the
NCAA while her 42 goals ranked 51st. The midfielder
recorded eight hat tricks on the season, including a six-goal
performance against Stanford in the season opener, and has 62
career goals, 17 career assists and 79 career points to her
credit.
Harvard was ranked No. 13 in the Inside Lacrosse
preseason poll released Tuesday after posting a 10-6 overall record
in 2011 and going 5-2 in Ivy League play. The Crimson's
season will get underway Feb. 25 at home against Boston University.
