COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- Former Harvard All-American Andre Akpan '10 tallied his first-career regular-season goal, helping the Colorado Rapids tie the Chicago Fire, 1-1, April 30.

With the Rapids trailing, 1-0, in the 49th minute, Akpan fired a shot from a difficult angle from the right side of the cage. Akpan struck the ball into the top left corner of the net, knotting the contest.
