Holte totaled 11 kills and 12 blocks last weekend for the Crimson (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's volleyball freshman Caroline Holte has earned her second Ivy League Rookie of the Week award after averaging nearly 2.00 bps and hitting over .500 in a 1-1 week for the Crimson.

Holte opened the weekend with a strong performance against Columbia, recording a career-high eight kills to go with a .615 hitting percentage and five blocks. On Saturday, the Laguna Beach, Calif., native led Harvard to a sweep of Cornell with seven blocks, three kills and a .375 hitting percentage.

Holte averaged 1.57 kps and 1.71 bps for the weekend while hitting .524. She currently ranks fifth in the Ivy League with an average of 1.05 bps and is the only freshman on the list. Holte was also named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Oct. 23 after registering a career-high nine blocks and a .455 hitting percentage against Dartmouth.

Harvard will head out on the road for the final weekend of play as it first takes to the court at Yale on Friday, Nov. 9 before traveling to Brown Saturday, Nov. 10.
