CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Ivy League and the NBC Sports Group has finalized its 2012 football television schedule with a total of eight games being broadcast including a league-high four games for defending champion Harvard.
NBC Sports Network will broadcast Harvard's Ivy League-opening game at Brown on September 22 at 4:30 p.m. as the back-end of the league's first-ever network double header. Earlier in the day, the network will broadcast Yale at Cornell.
In the only sublicensed game to date, CBS College Sports Network will broadcast Harvard's nonleague game against Bucknell at 3:30 p.m.
Harvard is back on the NBC Sports Network on November 10 in a noon game at Penn.
Lastly, the NBC Sports Network will televise "The Game" with Harvard hosting Yale at noon on November 17 at Harvard Stadium. In 2012, "The Game" will be played at Harvard and will mark the 129th iteration of the rivalry.
