CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior defensive back D.J. Monroe will play in the second annual College All-Star Bowl at Paladin Stadium on the campus of Furman University Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. The game will be shown on the CBS Sports Network at 6 p.m. EST.

The game will feature the Nationals, led by Clemson national champion head coach Danny Ford, and the Americans, led by College Football Hall of Fame head coach Willie Jeffries of South Carolina State. For more information, visit thecollegeallstarbowl.com.

Monroe, a native of Columbia,S.C., was honored on the All-Ivy League second team after leading the nation in passes defended (18). He stood second on the Crimson with 64 tackles and tied for the team lead with two interceptions.

A two-time All-Ivy choice, Monroe broke up 16 passes during his senior season, including four in the season opener at San Diego Sept. 21. In Harvard's 34-7 victory at Yale in The Game, Monroe recovered a fumble and added five tackles.
