About the Austin Hill Project
Austin Hill is a 15-year old athlete from Colorado, who has been battling cystic fibrosis his entire life. A lacrosse and rugby player in high school, Hill was forced to give up athletics due to his disease.

The Quinnipiac rugby team first met Hill when they traveled to Colorado for a match. After hearing his story, Quinnipiac rugby and the university's medical and engineering schools teamed up to develop technology that would allow Hill to continue to play sports.

Unfortunately, Hill suffered a head injury that that forced to give up sports. Quinnipiac turned its focus to helping the Hill family in any way possible, creating the Austin Hill Project. Now Quinnipiac rugby, the town of Hamden and local businesses have come together to raise money towards helping the Hill family with their medical bills.
