CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Denis Nguyen and sophomore Brian Yeung head to Baylor University's Hurd Tennis Center to compete in the 2015 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship Wednesday. Nguyen received an at-large bid to compete in the 64-player singles field and will match up against Leandro Toledo of Minnesota Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Nguyen and Yeung will pair up to take on Oliver Pramming and Justin Roberts of South Florida in the first round of the 32-team draw Thursday May 21.
Nguyen played Toledo earlier this season, a 6-2, 6-4 straight-sets victory at the Murr Tennis Center to help propel the Crimson to a 5-2 win over the Gophers. Nguyen and Yeung also bested Pramming and Roberts early in the fall season, posting an 8-2 win at the Chowdah Fest.
Nguyen completed the dual season at 12-9 from the No. 1 position, including a win over Northwestern's Sam Shropshire in the first round of the NCAA tournament. For the year, the Anaheim, California product was 18-13, helping the Crimson to an ECAC title and a NCAA championships bid.
Yeung and Nguyen paired to hold a 19-8 overall record, including a 12-7 mark in dual action.
