CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Senior captain Denis Nguyen advanced to the second round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championships with a straight-sets win over Leandro Toledo of Minnesota.

Nguyen rolled to a 6-4, 6-4 win over Toledo, his second defeat of the Gopher this season. Nguyen will play Thai-Son Kwiatkowski from Virginia in the second round May 21 at 11 a.m. ET.

Nguyen will join doubles partner Brian Yeung to face off against Oliver Pramming and Justin Roberts of South Florida at 3:30 p.m. ET.
