FULLERTON, Calif. – Earning its first win of the Wooden Legacy tournament, Harvard men's basketball earned a victory over Saint Joseph's, 77-71, on Friday afternoon at Titan Gym.

Harvard (3-3) got 21 points apiece from sophomores Chris Lewis and Bryce Aiken, with Lewis adding nine rebounds and Aiken a career-high eight assists. Classmate Robert Baker tallied his first-career double-double, with career-highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds and three blocks.

The Crimson got out to an early 11-point lead, 16-5, led by five points from freshman Rio Haskett. The advantage grew as high as 14 points midway through the period after a powerful and-one dunk by Baker, 23-9, and the Crimson led at the intermission, 34-28.

Keeping the pressure on, Harvard scored 43 points in the second half, including 14 from Aiken. A Saint Joseph's (2-3) run cut the Crimson lead to one midway through the period, but Harvard responded with a 10-1 run to push the score out of reach. Harvard led for the final 38:17 in the contest.

Harvard Highlights:

• Aiken tallied at least 20 points for the second-straight game, while Lewis' 21 points was just one shy of his career-best.
• Baker tallied Harvard's third double-double of the season, and the first of his career with personal bests of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
• Lewis is averaging 19.5 points per game in the tournament.
• Freshman Rio Haskett and sophomore Henry Welsh added six points apiece.

Game Notes:

• The all-time series is tied between the two schools, 2-2.
• Head coach Tommy Amaker is just four wins away from 200 at Harvard.
