Women's Rugby Readies For Brown, Ivy Championship Berth on the Line

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.– The Harvard women's rugby team (4-1) takes on Ivy League counterpart Brown (2-2) on Saturday, October 20 at 11 a.m. at Mignone Field and broadcast on ESPN+. The winner of the contest earns a berth into the Ivy Championship against Dartmouth.

What to Know

  • Coming off a two-try performance last week against Notre Dame College, senior Jenny Kronish looks to add to her team leading five try's.
  • The Crimson has won the last two 15s matches against Brown, including a 84-8 victory on Oct. 1, 2017.  
  • Harvard has won all three home games this season, including victories against Army West Point, Quinnipiac and Notre Dame College.

At the Helm
Harvard Head Coach Mel Denham is in her second season with the team. In her inaugural season, she posted a 21-14-1 record across 15s and 7s play. 

Up Next
With a win, the Crimson will advance to the Ivy Championship game on Saturday at Oct. 27 at Dartmouth. The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) playoffs begin Nov. 10.
