Harvard rallied to earn a 4-4 tie against No. 19 Princeton. (Gil Talbot)

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First-year defenseman Jack Rathbone and first-year forward Casey Dornbach each had a goal and two assists, as Harvard men's ice hockey (0-2-1, 0-2-1 ECAC Hockey) rallied for a 4-4 tie against No. 19 Princeton (1-1-1, 1-0-1 ECAC Hockey).

Sophomore forward Henry Bowlby and first-year forward Jack Drury added goals, and senior goaltender Michael Lackey made 19 saves for the Crimson.

Harvard scored twice in a span of 2:01 after Princeton took a 1-0 lead on its first shot of the game. Rathbone (5:30) and Bowlby (7:31) helped give Harvard the early lead.

Later in the period, Princeton tied it up on a deflection on the power play at 12:12 to tie the game at 2-2.

Drury answered with a power play goal at 7:26 of the second period, as sophomore Reilly Walsh's shot from the slot redirected off Drury's hip to give the Crimson the lead again.

Two late second-period goals from Princeton, a shorthanded score by Derek Topatigh (15:55) and a power play goal by Ryan Kuffner at 17:23 gave the Tigers the lead heading into the third period.

Then Dornbach tied it early in the third period, jamming a rebound past Princeton goalkeeper Ryan Ferland at 1:53.
