PRINCETON, N.J. – Opening a four-game road stretch at Jadwin Gym, junior Bryce Aiken scored 33 points and Harvard men's basketball earned a victory over Princeton, 78-69. Harvard improved to 12-8 overall with a 5-2 Ivy mark, while Princeton fell to 12-8 with a 4-3 Ancient Eight record.

Aiken finished 10-for-16 from the field, as he eclipsed 30 points for the second time in three games. First-year Noah Kirkwood scored 16 points, while junior Justin Bassey added 10 points and a team-leading seven rebounds.

The Tigers led by seven early in the opening stanza, 15-8, but Harvard responded to take a 21-19 lead just four minutes later after baskets from juniors Chris Lewis and Christian Juzang. Kirkwood added a pair of jump shots late in the half, as the Crimson left for the intermission with a two point lead, 33-31.

The teams traded baskets to begin the second half, with Princeton fighting back to take a six points lead, 56-50, with just under eight minutes to go. Aiken kick-started a Harvard run with a four-point play, as the junior scored 18 points over the final 7:36. Kirkwood connected on a pair of clutch triples late in the game, and the squad knocked down 10 second period free throws to tally the win.
