CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Continuing its five-match homestand this weekend, the Harvard women's volleyball team (7-9, 4-3 Ivy League) will welcome Dartmouth to the Malkin Athletic Center this Saturday, Oct. 23. The match is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
What to Know
- The Crimson remains tied for third with Yale in the Ivy League standings after going 1-1 last weekend to move to 4-3 in conference play and 7-9 overall. Harvard sealed a 3-1 win over Cornell on Friday night, before falling to Columbia in three sets on Saturday.
- Harvard will look to complete the season sweep against Dartmouth, previously besting the Big Green, 3-2, at the end of September. Dartmouth enters the weekend in fifth place in the Ivy League standings with a 2-5 conference mark and 10-6 overall record.

- Sophomore
Katie Vorhies continues to lead Harvard's attack, averaging 3.08 kills per set. Junior co-captain
Jaimie Rao guides the offense as well with 2.97 k/s. Vorhies and Rao rank ninth and 10th in the conference in kills per set, respectively.

Bella Almanza climbed the conference rankings into eighth in assists per set with 5.19 after her performances last weekend. The sophomore has now recorded 20+ assists in seven matches this season.
- Middle blockers
Ariana White and
Olivia Cooper continue to dominate at the net for the Crimson. The sophomores top the line up with 1.04 and 0.98 blocks per set, respectively, and rank sixth and seventh in the conference.
- Harvard has showed its depth in the backcourt with four underclassmen leading the Crimson's defense. First-year
Lindsey Zhang leads the way with 3.45 digs per set, while first-year
Teia Piette (2.33 d/s), sophomore
Ashley Wang (2.25 d/s) and sophomore
Nicole Prescott (2.06 d/s) all provide a steady presence as well.

Jennifer Weiss is in the midst of her 29th season at the helm of the Harvard women's volleyball program. Weiss has accumulated a 157-171 Ivy record, has led the Crimson to three Ivy League titles and has guided 82 All-Ivy selections during her tenure.
