CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 10/10 Harvard women's hockey (2-0-0, 1-0-0 ECAC Hockey) will host No. 9/9 Cornell (1-1-0, 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey) and No. 5/4 Colgate (8-2-0, 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey) this weekend at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center for its first ECAC Hockey series. Puck drop is set for 5 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+ and Harvard's international platform.
The Crimson is off to a successful start, winning both opening weekend games and picking up ECAC Hockey's Player of the Week award. Nine of 14 newcomers have made their collegiate debuts and four have tallied their first collegiate points. Senior

At the Helm
Katey Stone, The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, is in her 27th year at the helm of the women's hockey program. Prior to the 2021-22 season, Stone compiled a 494-253-54 record. During Summer 2021, Stone was named the recipient of USA Hockey's Distinguished Achievement Award, recognizing a U.S. citizen who has made hockey his or her profession, and has made outstanding contributions, on or off the ice, to the sport in America. No stranger to trailblazing in the sport, Stone was the first woman to be recognized for the award. Through her tenure at Harvard, Stone has coached six Patty Kazmaier Award winners, 24 All America selections, 13 Olympians and 11 NWHL/CWHL Draft picks. Her teams have won 11 Beanpot championships, seven ECAC Tournament titles and have advanced to the NCAA Tournament 11 times.
